Wadi Rum Protected Area Camp, Jordan

Camp toilet and shower facilities
We have one shower and toilet area. There are 1 toilets, 1 shower and 2 water basins with mirrors. The area has lighting and is open 24hrs a day. For the night, we suggest you to bring a small flashlight so you can see where you are walking in the dark from your tent to the bathroom area. The bathroom water has solar power heating and will provide very hot showers in the daytime and less hot in the night time. We need to conserve water as much as possible so we suggest you to have shorter showers than you may have back home.
Communal Tent
After dinner most guests stay in the communal large tent, go star gazing, sit around a fire, read, relax, watch tv or just enjoy the peace and quietness of the natural surroundings. Currently there is not a strong internet or mobile signal available in the camp so you will need to go without these things during your stay at the camp. You can often see local blanford's foxs as they come out at night. We have mattresses that can be taken outside and it is a very nice activity to lay in the sand whilst looking up at the stars. Breakfast is served at 7am and the jeep back to the village which connects with the tourist bus to Petra leaves at 8.15am.
